Sutherland Interhouse Football: 24 & 25 July 2025

Please take note of the following arrangements:


1. TEAMS: 4 teams per house. 2 girls’ teams (junior and senior), 2 boys teams
(junior and senior)
2. Learners must play strictly in their age group – grade 8 and 9s are classified
as Juniors and grade 10 – 12s as senior. No junior will play in a senior team.
3. Juniors will play on the 24th and seniors on the 25th of June.
4. FORMAT: 7 a side, with a maximum rolling sub of 6 players per team.
5. POINTS: A win is = 3 points. A draw is = 1 point.
6. In the event of a tie in the finals – a penalty shoot-out will decide the winner.
7. Placing games: in the event of a tie, goal difference will be considered to
break the tie.
8. DISCIPLINE: Head of house is responsible for the discipline of their players.
Please have 2 staff members for the two teams playing on each day to
monitor and control behaviour.
9. TIME: each game is 7 mins per half and 14 mins in total. The FINALS are 10
mins per half and 20 mins in total for Juniors. Seniors 15mins per half and
30mins in total.
10. ATTIRE: Each player must wear their house t-shirt – they cannot play without
a house t-shirt.
11. Matches will be point based. If you win you proceed to the next round and all
the way to the final. If you lose your first game you then play a placing match.
