QUALIFICATIONS CRITERIA:
1. Must not be a recipient of GCC scholarship by other Google partners.
2. Employed by the Philippine Government Office classified as Local Government Unit during the
time of application.
3. Preferably holding a permanent or plantilla position in their current organization, but not
required.
4. Currently working in ICT-related fields in their current organization.
DUTIES OF THE QUALIFIED RECIPIENTS OF THE GCC PROGRAM:
The qualified GCC recipients must commit and agree with the following:
1. Utilize the Google Career Certificate scholarship program for six (6) months period valid starting
from the date of onboarding and complete a certain/all courses associated with the assigned
access rights.
2. Prioritize the use of the scholarship services and complete the assigned tasks for the course.
3. Actively use the scholarship services and avoid monthly or one (1) month inactivity.
4. Answer and submit homework, quizzes, exams, projects, assignments, and other activities with
the scholars' own work (except for assignments that explicitly permit collaboration).
5. Make solutions to homework, quizzes, exams, projects, and other assignments unavailable to
anyone else (except to the extent an assignment explicitly permits sharing of solutions). This
includes both solutions written by scholars, as well as any solutions provided by the course staff
or others.
6. Avoid engaging in any other activities that will dishonestly improve scholars’ results or
dishonestly improve or hurt the results of others.
Any violation of these obligations may result in suspension and termination of the scholar’s access to all
or part of the services.
AVAILABLE TRACKS
1. GOOGLE DATA ANALYTICS
o Navigate the data lifecycle using tools and platforms to process, analyze, visualize and
gain insights.
o Have working knowledge of essential data analysis platforms (Excel, SQL, Tableau, R)
and when to use them in the data lifecycle.
o Understand how to translate a business question into a data analysis exercise, from
transforming, visualizing, and modeling data to distilling findings into actionable
takeaways.
o Complete a capstone project.

2. GOOGLE IT SUPPORT
o Troubleshooting, wireless networking, system administration, operating systems, and
security.
o Know how to assemble a computer, write effective support documentation, route paths
and subnets, manage device software.
o Use systems including Linux, Domain Name Systems, Command-Line Interface, and
Binary Code.

4. GOOGLE UX DESIGN
o Create low-fidelity designs and wireframes, design high-fidelity prototypes, and
understand how to iterate designs by testing.
o Core concepts include usability studies, design sprints, accessibility, UX research.
o Work with industry standard design and prototyping tools such as Adobe XD and Figma.
o Start a portfolio including 3+ projects.

6. GOOGLE CYBERSECURITY
o The Google Cybersecurity Certificate helps prepare the learners for the CompTIA
Security+ exam, the industry-leading certification for cybersecurity roles. Learners will
earn a dual credential when they complete both.
o Learn from cybersecurity experts at Google and gain in-demand skills that prepare you
for entry-level roles like cybersecurity analyst, security operations center (SOC) analyst,
and more.
o Complete the certificate in less than 6 months at under 10 hours per week.
o Upon completion of the certificate, you can directly apply for jobs with Google and over
150 U.S. employers.
