2 Dismantling A.C. sheet roofing including ridges, hips, valleys 330.00 SQM
and gutters, face curve etc at all heights and stacking the
materials within 50mtrs lead.

3 Dismantling false ceiling without making any damages to the 60.00 SQM
existing structure including stacking the serviceable materials
at CMD store and disposing the debris within 50 mtr lead etc
all as directed by Engineer in charge.

4 Demolishing cement concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix by 0.50 CUM


mechanical/manual means at all heights including disposal of
materials within 50 mtrs lead as per direction of Engineer in
charge.

5 Chipping and removing existing plaster/debonded cover 5.00 SQM


concrete to expose the hard concrete surface using manual
chisel or by standard power driven percussion type including
tapering of all edges, cleaning the exposed concrete surface
and reinforcement with air and water jet/ wire brush to remove
the dust particles etc., and disposal of debris for all leads and
lifts including necessary scaffolding etc complete all as per
direction of Engineer in charge.

6 Cleaning reinforcement to give it a total rust free steel surface 25.00 MTR
using alkaline chemical rust remover of approved make with
paint brush and removing loose particles after 24 hours of its
application with wire brush and allowing it to dry etc as per
manufacturers specification for all leads and lifts including
necessary scaffolding, all complete as per direction of
Engineer in charge.

7 Painting steel works, exposed steel rods, etc; with ONE or 5.00 SQM
more coats of ANTIRUST protective coat of approved make or
equivalent make paint etc; complete all as per specifications at
all heights as per approved drawings. NOTE: Surface area of
the structural section will be measured.

8 Providing "EPOXY" resin bonding agent over the old concrete 5.00 SQM
surface to receive the new concreting of approved make and
quality(@ 0.45kg/sqm or as per the manufacturer's
specifications) including cleaning the surfaces, cost of all
materials, labour, etc; complete.

9 Repairs to plaster of thickness 12mm to 20mm polymer 5.00 SQM


modified latex mortar with polypropylene fibers of approved
make as per the manufactures specification over the concrete
surface roughened by chipping followed by water jetting,
including filling the crevices/ undulations, raking out joints,
flushing with adjacent surface, curing etc., for all leads and
lifts including necessary scaffolding etc complete all as
directed by the Engineer in charge.

10 Providing and laying cement concrete using graded hard


granite stone aggregate of 20mm nominal size obtained from
approved quarry including formwork, compaction, finishing,
curing, etc; IN BED BLOCKS, ANCHOR BLOCKS, WINDOW
SILLS, COPING BLOCKS, etc; up to floor-V level complete all
as per specifications. Mix ratio specified is for (Cement: Fine
aggregate (Crushed stone sand produced by crushed hard
stone/ rock as per IS383: 2016): Graded stone aggregate) The
work includes providing throating/ drip mould where ever
required as per standard engineering practice of size not be
less than 40mm X 15mm. The rate is inclusive for making drip
mould & no extra cost will be paid for.

11 Providing and constructing BRICK MASONRY in cement


mortar as per mixes stipulated below using approved well
burnt bricks of "CLASS DESIGNATION" (Classification as per
I.S. 1077-1986) as specified below including raking out joints
10mm deep, scaffolding, curing, etc; complete as per
specifications IN SUPERSTRUCTURE UP TO 6.50M FROM
FFL OF GF. (The mix ratio specified is for Cement : Fine
aggregate (Crushed stone sand produced by crushed hard
stone/ rock as per IS2116 - 1980, 2002)

11.1 USING BRICKS OF CLASS DESIGNATION "3.5" (Minimum 0.50 CUM


Average Compressive strength not less than 3.5N/sqmm) In
cement mortar 1:6

12 Plastering 15mm thick on the rough side of single or half brick


wall with cement mortar using fine aggregate specified below,
finished smooth, including mixing of suitable admixtures
(Liquid mortar plasticizer) of approved make (@ 200ml/50kg
or as per manufacturer specification), scaffolding, curing, etc;
complete for INTERNAL SURFACES of walls, beam, ribs,
sills, jambs, ceiling, etc; complete all as per specifications at
all heights/depths as per approved drawings. Mix specified is
for cement : Fine aggregate (Crushed stone sand produced by
crushed hard stone/ rock as per IS1542: 1992, 2003) NOTE:
CM 1:3 OR CM 1:4 is generally applicable for ceilings and
RCC surfaces unless otherwise specified.

12.1 With CM 1:5 5.00 SQM

13 Plastering 20mm thick with cement mortar using fine


aggregate specified below, finished rough including mixing of
suitable admixtures (Liquid mortar plasticizer) of approved
make (@ 200ml/50kg or as per manufacturer specification),
scaffolding, curing, etc; complete for EXTERNAL SURFACES
inclusive of sills, jambs, soffits, ceilings, etc; complete all as
per specifications upto 10m from GL. Mix specified is for
cement : Fine aggregate (Crushed stone sand produced by
crushed hard stone/ rock as per IS1542: 1992, 2003). NOTE :
i) CM 1:3 OR CM 1:4 is generally applicable for ceilings and
RCC surfaces unless otherwise specified.

13.1 With C.M.1:5 5.00 SQM

14 Water proof cement plastering of thickness as specified below


in cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 P-sand) mixed with
approved water proofing compound of approved make as per
manufacturers specifications including scaffolding, curing, etc;
complete all as per specifications at all heights/depths as per
approved drawings.

14.1 20mm thick 15.00 SQM

15 Repairs to plaster of thickness from 12mm to 20mm in


patches of area 2.5sqm and under including cutting the patch
in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering
the surface of the walls complete including disposal of rubbish
to the dumping ground within 50mtr lead all as per the
direction of Engineer in charge at all heights.

15.1 With C.M 1:4 - Using Graded Crushed stone sand produced 5.00 SQM
by crushed hard stone/ rock as per IS1542: 1992, 2003 with
suitable admixture

16 Supplying, fabricating, assembling, hoisting/erecting and fixing


in position at heights mentioned below and with all leads,
structural steel works of welded built-up sections, all as per
structural drawings and as per detailed specifications (for
materials and workmanship) in the situations described
hereinafter including a)cutting of components to required
lengths/widths and shapes/profiles, smooth machining of
edges/faces , c) welding (electric arc welding) at joints of built-
up sections/single sections for required weld lengths and sizes
and d) painting all over with two coats of EPOXY PAINT of
approved quality , make and colour/shade over a coat of
appropriate primer with surfaces duly prepared to receive
painting etc., complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-
charge

NOTE : The Contractor shall submit fabrication shop drawings


for work involved based on construction drawings (that may be
issued during construction period) for approval by Engineer-in-
charge. The fabrication work shall start only after approval to
the fabrication drawings. Any change required in the
fabrication drawings shall be carried out at no extra cost over
the quoted rates. Fabrication shall be in a perfectly
workmanship like manner and as provided in Section V and VI
of IS 800 and IS 7215. Welding shall be carried out by
qualified welders. Electrodes for welding, the procedure,
selection, test and inspection shall conform to provisions in IS
816, IS 818, IS 822, and IS 833. Erection/hoisting shall
commence only after passing of fabricated parts by the
Engineer -in- charge.

16.1 Structural steel works and welded built up sections in items 0.170 MT
above but with MS Plates of any thickness upto 6m heights.

16.2 Structural steel works as in item above but with MS angles 0.550 MT
tees and other sections. (upto 9m height)

17 Supplying, fabricating, assembling, hoisting/erecting and fixing


in position UP TO A HEIGHT OF 9.00 MTR and with all leads,
structural steel works of welded built-up sections, all as per
structural drawings and as per detailed specifications (for
materials and workmanship) in the situations described
hereinafter including a)cutting of components to required
lengths/widths and shapes/profiles, smooth machining of
edges/faces, c) welding (electric arc welding) at joints of built-
up sections/single sections for required weld lengths and sizes
and

d) painting all over with two coats of EPOXY PAINT of


approved quality, make and colour/shade over a coat of
appropriate primer with surfaces duly prepared to receive
painting etc., complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-
charge NOTE : The Contractor shall submit fabrication shop
drawings for work involved based on construction drawings
(that may be issued during construction period) for approval by
Engineer-in-charge. The fabrication work shall start only after
approval to the fabrication drawings.

Any change required in the fabrication drawings shall be


carried out at no extra cost over the quoted rates. Fabrication
shall be in a perfectly workmanship like manner and as
provided in Section V and VI of IS 800 and IS 7215. Welding
shall be carried out by qualified welders. Electrodes for
welding, the procedure, selection, test and inspection shall
conform to provisions in IS 816, IS 818, IS 822, and IS 833.
Erection/hoisting shall commence only after passing of
fabricated parts by the Engineer -in- charge.

17.1 Hot finished seamless type tubes (Rectangular/ Square 90.00 KG


tubular sections)

18 Providing and Finishing with EPOXY PAINT of approved make


(two or more coats) at all locations at all heights prepared &
applied as per manufacturer's specifications including
appropriate priming coat, preparation of surface etc complete,

18.1 On steel work 130.00 SQM

19 Supplying and fixing aluminium industrial troughed coloured


roofing sheet as per the following specifications :AA3105 alloy
,H18 temper colour coated from approved manufacturer using
tight frames securing to purlins by welding or with self tapping
fasteners and a metal washer and PP cap assembly to ensure
watertight fastening points at crest. The entire operation shall
be as per the manufacture's specifications and as directed by
Engineer in charge..The quoted rate shall include for cost of
materials and roofing sheet overlapping (such as aluminium
sheets ,self tapping fasteners ,washers ,etc..)and necessary
staging /platform required for fixing the above and specialized
labour for all the activities etc ...complete all as per
specifications and as directed by Engineer in charge.

19.1 Thickness-0.91 mm at all heights 345.00 SQM

20 Supplying and fixing close fitting adjustable aluminium ridges


(600mm wide) matching the roofing sheet as per the following
specifications :AA3105 alloy ,H18 temper colour coated from
approved manufacturer, rates including cost of all materials
and labours etc complete at all height all as per the direction
of Engineer in charge.

20.1 Thickness -0.91mm 30.00 MTR

21 Providing and fixing at all heights/ in all floors with all leads
False ceiling with false ceiling materials as specified, cut to
shape and size and in the required grid pattern supported on
aluminium frame work of approved make consisting of Bulbed
Tee of section (23.5x23.5x1.5)mm @ 0.212kg/mtr for wall
angles, cross tees and Bulbed Tee of section
(36.5x23.5x1.5)mm @ 0.267kg/mtr for main tees,including
providing and fixing G.I level adjusting hangers fixed to roof by
means of ceiling cleats made out of GI flat with stainless steel
expandable dash fastener and providing necessary openings
and additional framework required for light and A/c fittings and
upturn as pelmet attends along walls for return air in the false
ceiling as required and painting the steel work with one coat of
red oxide zinc chromate primer, etc;

complete all as per specifications. (i) Wooden blocks such as


wooden gutty or rawl plugs should not be placed in concrete
as they will shrink and fall down indue course when loads are
applied. Hence anchor fasteners of 8 mm dia to take SWL of
not less then 200 kg or MS box as detailed below shall be
used (ii) Mild steel hook of 6mm dia and approx. 300mm long,
welded to MS Box made out of 18 G MS Sheet 80mm dia and
50 mm high shall be provided in the slabs before concreting of
floor/roof slabs.

The MS hook arrangement shall be placed in the


predetermined positions as per the false ceiling details. (iii)
The MS box and hooks shall be applied with 1 coat of red
oxide zinc chromate primer before placing them in position.
The projected length of the rods beyond the MS/GI Box shall
be suitably tied with the slab reinforcement. (iv) The location of
Tab hangers shall follow the false ceiling layout. (v) The
Aluminium anodisation for the aluminium extruded sections
should not be less than 15 micron thick or the powder coating
for the aluminium extruded sections should not be less than
60microns. NOTE: The rates is excluding the cost of
Aluminium grid work, GI/M.S.Box/ Hooks/ Suspenders which
will be paid separately

21.1 Providing and fixing powder coated Aluminium Extruded 55.00 KG


sections of approved make in grids including drilling holes for
suspending the grid etc. (Note: powder coating for the
aluminium extruded sections should not be less than
60microns)

21.2 Providing and fixing 6 mm dia. G.I. level adjusting hangers 70.00 EACH
(upto 1200mm length), fixed to roof slabs by means of ceiling
cleats made out of G.I. flat 40x3mm size 60 mm long and
stainless steel expandable dash fastener of 12.5 mm dia and
50 mm long, complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

21.3 Providing and fixing 4 mm thick pre-painted Textured fibre 60.00 SQM
cement board over the aluminium frame work as specified
Type-B, Category-III as per IS: 14862:2000 etc completed as
specified. (Frame work will be measured separately elsewhere
as an item).

22 Providing and fixing at all heights/ in all floors with all leads
powder coated aluminium doors/ windows/ ventilators
partitions manufactured from best extruded aluminium
sections confirming to ISI, cut to length, joints mitred and
corners grinded with joints water proof the outer frame and
shutter frame stiffened with corner angle strips or provided for
in the frame for fixing the frame to RCC columns/ masonry on
sides, RCC lintels on top and P.C.C cills or floor at bottom, the
frame work fixed with standard approved fastenings all
generally as per details shown in drawings and specification
with all the sections pretreated for removal of any rust and
prevention of further rust formation and coated with greasy
materials for non-adherence of mortar or any other sticky
materials and this coat to be removed after installations of the
sub-dividing frames by tennoned and riveted into frames all
aluminium surface be thoroughly cleaned free of

rust scale or dirt and mill scale by pickling surfaces finished


with powder coating 60 micron thick including cost of pull and
push plates and fixtures for hinged openings (arrangement

like tower bolts etc., supplied free for fixing including screws /
bolts (or these materials measured separately elsewhere)
where shutters are involved etc., complete , cost of providing
and fixing of glass of selected glazing quality of thickness and
type of glass specified hereinafter or panel boards including
nylon or pvc or rubber Lining of approved quality wooden
grounds, rubber gasket, aluminium glazing clips, mastic etc.,
and fixing with aluminium glazing clips and also snap-on type
with holes as per drawing and specifications provided for
separately in the sub items following the main items of frame
work for partition and door shutters as below

22.1 Providing and fixing of Powder coated Aluminium (Matt finish) 8.00 KG
frame work (Horizontal and verticals) for partitions Doors
/Windows/ ventilators with required sections of approved
make including all items and contingencies described above
complete (Aluminium beadings and glazing clips measured
under this item only).

22.2 Providing and fixing of powder coated ALUMINIUM LOUVERS 8.00 KG


of thickness 1.5 to 2mm for windows/ ventilators fixed to
existing aluminium frames with suitable aluminium louver
holder sections of approved make including all items and
contingencies described above complete including beading
cutting grooves in frames etc complete including cost of louver
but excluding cost of frames. ( The cost of frames will be paid
separately elsewhere as an items.)

23 Supplying and fixing Mechanical Anchor fasteners of M/s.


HILTI or equivalent make of following sizes as specified
including drilling into masonry/ concrete etc complete all as
per specifications of Engineer in charge
