c) Describe briefly the bonding associated with metals [5]

a) Material properties are influenced by the type of bond. State three properties and explain
fully how each property is influenced by ionic, covalent and metallic bonds [15]
b) Secondary bonds are formed due to electrical dipole interaction which occurs between
(i) Induced dipoles
