TENANCY AGREEMENT

THIS AGREEMENT is made BETWEEN

in.....Local Government Area of.............State (hereinafter called "the Landlord”) of the one part
AND.... ..........of in...............................Local Government Area of...........State (hereinafter called
"the Tenant")of the other part and accordingly agreed as follows:

1. The Landlord lets and the Tenant takes on a tenancy from the...........day of January-December
2019 of the ·····.·.....apartment of the house situate at.... ··in ·..........Local Government Area of
State (hereinafter referred to as "the Demised Premises”).

2. The rent reserved for the demised premises is N.........................only per annum provided that the
Landlord shall have the right to review the rent from time to time and provided also that the review
shall be communicated in writing to the tenant or deemed communicated whenever the tenant pays
for the new rent as evidence in a rent receipt.

3. The tenant shall keep the demised premises in as good a state of repair and condition as they are
now in at the commencement of this tenancy (reasonable wear and tear and damage by accidental
firestorm or tempest excepted) and shall replace with articles of at least equal value any item
attached, appurtenant or affixed to the demised premises which are removed,lost or so destroyed or
damaged by the tenant.

4. The tenant shall not use or permit the demised premises to be used otherwise than as residential
premises and not to take in lodgers or paying guest.

5. The tenant shall not assign, underlet or part with possession of the premises and shall alter the
existing structures therein without a written permission from the Landlord.

6. The tenant shall not dispute in any manner whatsoever the authority of the Landlord in respect of
the demised premises.

7. The tenancy may be determined by either party giving to the other ONE MONTH previous notice
in writing and thereafter the Landlord shall be at liberty to take the tenant to a Rent Tribunal
established by Government for re-possession.
