1st CLASS

1. Introduction in ms excel
2. Introduction in electronic spreadsheet
3. Enter the following details in Excel Sheet.

2. Save the file name as “Employee”.xlsx.


3. Create the merge cell on the heading of table.
4. Change style of heading Bold, Italic and change the style of Font to Arial Black.
5. Select the Data area and give Border & Shade.
6. Calculate the HRA 20% on Basic, DA 15% on Basic, and TA 10% on Basic & PF 12% on Basic+ DA.
7. Calculation the gross & net salary of each employee.

4. Create the following details in Excel Sheet.


8. Rename the sheet1 as “EMPLOYEE”.
9. Change the “EMPLOYEE” sheet color (tab color)
10. Now insert rows between the SL NO of 3, 4, and 5.
11. Now back into original position.
12. Insert the columns between Name & Basic fields, HRA & DA fields.
13. Now back into original position.
14. Hide the columns of B, E & G.
15. Redisplay the hidden columns.
16. Increase the width of any column & height of any row.
17. Now back into original position.
18. Apply the best fit feature on the name’s column.
19. Apply the wrap text & shrink to fit on the data of “NAME” field.
20. Now back into original position.
21. Format the Gross & Net values into Currency category.
22. Now back into original positions
23. Calculate the total of all fields using the auto sum option.
24. Format the numeric value of all fields comma above 1000 & 2 decimal places.
25. Now back into original position.
26. Now change the basic salary 8300 to 8500 using by Goal seek.
27. Insert Pivot table on the above of “EMPLOYEE” Table.
28. Inert the Pivot chart on the above “EMPLOYEE” table.
2nd CLASS

10. Enter the following Data in the work sheet.

11. Calculate the Total & Average Using the Auto sum Option.
12. Calculate Grade on the following basis.
a. “A” grade for average>=80
b. “B” grade for average>=70 to <80
c. “C” grade for average>=60 to <70
d. “D” grade for average>=50 to <60
e. “Fail” grade for average<50
15. Enter the proper axis fields & legend fields.
16. Change the column chart to pie chart.
17. Insert the clip art on the above chart as your choice.
18. Insert the hyperlink between two pages “Employee.xlsx” & “Result.xlsx”.
19. Insert the Header & Footer name (Such as College name as header & page no as footer).
20. Now save your file & close the work book.
21. Now calculate the conditional formatting
1. Total >=60 is blue color
2. Total>=40 & total<60 is green color
3. Total<39 is red color
22. Now create cell orientation
23. Apply filter & advanced filter (math>=80 and total>=350 for advance filter)
24.Create a calendar in the excel sheet with 12 month.(used fill option)
3rd CLASS

1. Create a new workbook & save the name as “Interest”.


2. Calculation of Interest of each amount on the work sheet as follows.

8. Now delete the custom list.
9. Create a chart (pie & bar) following the above table.
10. An apply page set up (page – a4, margin – 0.5 all side)
11. An apply print process.(page order form page setup option)
12. Now decreases the decimal places of changing round figure.(Use round
formula)
