ERM Presentation Script

The article provides a well-organized analysis of 101 studies on Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) from 2008 to 2019, identifying strengths and research gaps, particularly in developing countries. While it effectively summarizes ERM research and highlights areas for future study, it has limitations such as insufficient supporting data and a lack of assessment of research methods. Overall, the article is valuable for academics and professionals seeking to understand ERM better and its implications in practice.

Presentation Script – ERM Article

Analysis & Conclusion

1. Analysis
I will begin with the analysis of the article.

First, the article is well-organized and easy to follow. It uses technical terms,
graphs, and academic sources, which help build credibility.

Second, about strengths:

- It reviews 101 studies from 2008 to 2019 and divides them into four key areas:
how ERM is used, what influences it, the outcomes, and related factors.
- It also highlights research gaps—for example, limited studies on ERM in
developing countries—so it's helpful for future research.

However, there are some limitations:

- The article compares regions and industries but doesn’t provide enough
supporting data.
- It focuses mostly on ERM’s benefits and ignores risks or downsides.
- Also, it mentions research methods but doesn’t assess their quality, and lacks
information about the study participants.

Finally, about the research method:

- The authors used a systematic literature review, following standard steps, but
didn’t go into detail about how strong the reviewed methods were.

2. Conclusion
In conclusion, the article gives a clear and helpful summary of ERM research.

- It’s useful for both academics and professionals, showing where more studies
are needed—especially in less-studied sectors and countries.
- Although a few citations are missing, the overall contribution is still strong.
- The article supports future research and helps readers better understand ERM
in practice.

That’s the end of my presentation. Thank you for listening!
