I. Rationale:
Intramurals 2025 promotes holistic learner development through sports, teamwork, and school spirit.
It provides a venue for students to showcase their athletic skills while fostering discipline, camaraderie, and
sportsmanship.
This activity is aligned with DepEd Order No. 34, s. 2022, which supports co-curricular programs that
enhance students’ physical, mental, and social well-being.
II. Objective/s:
This activity aims to:
1. To promote physical fitness and overall well-being among students.

2. To develop values of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship through healthy competition.

3. To strengthen school spirit and camaraderie within the school community.


III. Description of Activity:
Matalom National High School will be conducting Intramurals 2025, a school-wide sports and
recreational event that features various athletic competitions and team-building activities. Students will be
grouped into four teams and will compete in different sports such as basketball, volleyball, track and field, and
fun games. The event encourages active participation, celebrates athletic talents, and fosters unity,
sportsmanship, and school pride in a fun and engaging environment.
