What is a butterfly?
A butterfly is an insect, which means it has:
*six legs
*three body parts: head, thorax, abdomen
*two antenna with knobs at the end
A butterflys life cycle has 4 stages.
A butterfly eats nectar from flowers.
A butterfly has four scaly wings.

The butterflys proboscis is

only fly if the temperature is above 86 degrees.

instead of being eaten.
