3rd Grading Summative Tests

This document discusses subjects and predicates in sentences. It defines a subject as the word or words about which something is said, usually a noun or pronoun. A predicate tells something about the subject and is usually a verb. Examples are provided to illustrate simple subjects and predicates, which contain only one word each, as well as complete subjects and predicates, which can contain modifiers. Directions are given to identify subjects and predicates in sample sentences. The document was prepared by Norma P. Bulusan of San Mariano II Central Integrated School.
