order
2. When a criminal case is called, the
prosecutor and the counsel for the
defendant will appear saying the line:
“Good Morning, You Honor. Atty. NAME,
respectfully appearing as counsel for
the _____________. Ready,Your Honor”
3. The Prosecution calls the witness to the
witness stand
4. The witness will be asked by the Court
Interpreter about his/ her personal
circumstances: Name, Age, Profession/
Work, Address, Civil Status.
5. The Prosecution will state the purpose on
why the testimony of the witness is being
offered.

A house was ravaged by fire in Brgy. San
Jose, Molo, Iloilo City. After the
investigation conducted by the Arson
Investigator of the BFP, it was found out
that the fire was started by a certain
Bornok who was mad at the owner of the
house. Bornok was arrested and is now
facing trial. The Arson Investigator from
the BFP is the next witness to be
presented by the prosecution.
