Multimedia presentations allow users to incorporate different modalities like text, graphics, photos, audio, animation and video. They can be customized with navigation links between slides and to other media. When creating a multimedia presentation, one should understand the purpose and audience, gather information from various sources while citing them properly, organize the content logically into slides with one main idea per slide, address technical aspects like font size and readability, and be creative with transitions but not overuse them.
