PP Fiber UHPC Exposed To High Temperature: Fiber Proportions Furnace Tempertaure

The document describes a study that tested ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC) specimens containing polypropylene (PP) fibers exposed to high temperatures. Specimens contained 0% or 2.0% PP fibers by volume, with a constant 1.5% steel fiber volume. Tests included: compressive strength before and after exposure to temperatures of 25-27°C, 300°C, 400°C or 500°C; mercury intrusion porosimetry (MIP); and conventional porosity measurements. The goal was to analyze how different PP fiber proportions affected UHPC properties under high temperature conditions.

Temperature for testing the specimen

Followed Yang et al., 2019, and the compability of the furnace the
temperature used for the specimen are ambient temperature (25-
27 ˚C) and 300 or 400, or 500 ˚C. (choose one depends on the availability of
the furnace)
