Objective
• The project “Student Information Management System” is
a interface provides a compatibility platform for
maintaining student information used by educational
institutions to maintain records of students
• Throughout the project the main objective has been on
presenting information in an easy and understandable
manner.
• By the usage of this project the paper work and manual
process can be reduced and it automates the record
generation from online registration and profile creation of
the students
Problem Description
• Data pertaining to student was maintained manually
• Manual system was not efficient
• Maintenance cost of manual system is high
• This procedure may not accurate, it is error prone
• Mainly this is not suitable for Electronic Exchange of
data.
Introduction
• Without a Student information System, managing and
maintaining the details of the student is a tedious job
for any organization.
• Student Information system will store all the details of
the students including their background information,
educational qualifications, personal details and all the
information related to their resume .

Conclusion
• At this level the proposal of student information system
is developed in order to trigger automation system.
