Yes, Even an engineer can thrive on emotional intelligence, Engineers don’t react as if its
something new and very hard to understand but they are confused. The primary reason engineers
try to seek EI is due to Cognitive dissonance they possess.
The factors which cause data focused, quantitative types to change their reactions on Meng’s vision
are
I. Scientific reasoning
• Defining a scientific result/outcomes behind every work
I. Application (Action and result oriented)
• Defining action, purpose and its results for the work done
I. Precision of the language
• Conversion of factual information to the précised language they understand
