The language features of report text

1.Using general nouns, e.g. Penguins are aquatic animal


2.Using relating verb for describing the characteristics, e.g.
They can swim from 6 to 12 km/hour even until 27
km/hour.
3.Using present tense to state something in general truth or
scientific fact (Simple Present Tense (S + V1 es/s… or S
+ is am, are + Complement)), e.g. They live in Antarctic
or South Pole.
