 Ever since Scientist
prove that the Big Bang
to be the most plausible
cosmological theory,and
since it only focused
more on how it might all
began,their attention
started to shift to how
the Universe would end

Most astronomers believe that the
universe was created about 13 billion
years ago in a huge explosion.

The universe has been expanding ever


since
BIG CRUNCH/BIG BOUNCE

 Predicts that,after having expanded to


its maximum size,the Universe will
finally collapse into itself to form the
Greatest Black hole ever.

Black Hole
 An object whose surface gravity is exceedingly
high that nothing,even light can escape.
 This is formed as a result of a star that
collapses at the end of its life.
 It can take in radiation and objects but can
never send anything back.
 Many black holes exist in Binary star systems.

BIG FREEZE
 Also known as Heat Death.
 Direct consequence of an ever expanding
Universe.
 The term Heat Death comes from the idea
that,in an isolated system (the Universe being
a very big example) ,the entrophy will
continously increase until it reaches a
maximum value.

 Space expand so fast,Gravity can’t handle it
and Galaxies tear apart.

 To occur,dark energy must win in its battle


with gravity to such a point where it can rip
apart individual atoms.
