Message form Mr. V.K.

SELVAKUMAR, Managing
Director

Greetings from Chennai Mettex Lab Private Limited.

Our lab has been established in the year 1984 and provide testing facility
under the guidelines of ISO/IEC 17025: 2017 in the field of Mechanical testing,
Chemical testing & Biological testing vide NABL integrated certificate number
TC-5589.Further the lab provides testing facility to Food testing, Water testing,
Environmental testing.

The lab can handle testing of different types of samples, like Metals& Alloys,
Food and processed food, Dairy, Packaged drinking water and for environmental
testing like Air monitoring; Indoor Air Quality(IAQ), Ambient Air Quality (AAQ), ETP
and STP water testing

In exclusive for engineering and automobile industries, the various mechanical
tests like, Tensile test with different capacities (25 kN, 100kN, 400 kN, 1000 kN)
Hardness (Vickers, Brinell, Rockwell, Rockwell Superficial), Impact test (as per
ASTM and ISO standards), microhardness test, microstructure and metallography
are being carried as per various national and international specifications

• In chemical testing, the lab has facilities like Optical Emission Spectrometer
(OES), X-ray Florescence spectrometer and wet chemical testing. Hand held XRF
available for positive material identification at site. For heavy metal analysis ICP-
OES, ICP-MS, AAS are available.

• World class instrument facilities like Gas chromatography mass spectroscopy
(GC-MS), Liquid chromatography mass spectroscopy (LCMS) are available for
pesticide residue and antibiotic residue analysis.
The lab had been accredited by national and international agencies like NABL,
APEDA, FSSAI, EIC, BIS, MOEF, AGMARK, OHSAS, GAFTA, IOPEPC, TEA
BOARD
we constantly provide environmental testing service to private and government
agencies
