» Install the INC-100T Client and Server software
and MS SQL Server database

» Restrict the use of MS SQL Server memory
» Check the correctness of installation

Installation
–Check the directories and files
•The folder “INC-100T” should exist after installation.
–Check the shortcut icons
•There must be “INC-100TServer” and “INC-100TClient” shortcut icons on Windows desktop.
•Click [Start/Programs], and there must exist the “SpectralWave INC-100T” shortcut icon directory and
shortcut icons of “INC-100TServer” and “INC-100TClient”.
–Check the environmental variables
•Right-click [My Computer] on the desktop, choose [Properties] menu, and then click [Advanced] tab.
Click [Environment Variables] in the [Advanced] tab dialog box. The SpectralWave Application
Platform (iMAP) variable should exist in the field of User Variables for Administrator in the popped up
dialog box.
–Check the running status
»Check the running status of the database: Click [Start/ Programs/ Microsoft SQL Server 7.0/
Service Manager], SQL Server can be started correctly.
»Check the running status of the INC-100T : Double-click the INC-100TServer icon on the
desktop, and an INC-100T System Monitor Client login dialog will appear in several seconds.
Input password (INC-100T) and server (Local), you can log into the INC-100T Server
normally. Wait three minutes until the EMS, Security and Topo servers are all in “running”
status. Double-click the INC-100TClient icon on the desktop, and a INC-100T Client login
dialog will appear in several seconds. Input user name (admin), password (INC-100T), and
server (127.0.0.1:9801), you can log into the INC-100T Server normally.
 Start INC-100T Server
On the server desktop, double-click the
"INC-100TServer" icon to run the start
program of the INC-100T server

Type * INC-100T¨ in the “Password” entry

box and click <Login>.

Start the system monitor and

check whether the status of
Topo server, Security server
and Ems server are all
“Running” in the “Process” tab
If they are, it means the INC-
100T server is started
successfully.
 Start INC-100T Client
On the server desktop, double-click
the "INC-100TClient" icon to run the
start program of the INC-100T client.
A “Login” dialog box will appear.

In the “Server” combo box,

select or type in the IP
address and port of the INC-
100T server to be accessed.

Type the user name ¨admin¨ and password “INC-100T"
