Apresentação EWIS

This document discusses aviation school training on electrical wire interconnection systems (EWIS). It covers topics like identifying and preparing different types of wires and cables, installing, repairing, and terminating them. The document provides specifications for aviation wires and describes general purpose and RF connectors, bonding, grounding, and inspecting aircraft electrical systems. Trainees will learn to properly handle wire and cable, install connectors, and make repairs, which is important for aircraft maintenance and avoiding delays from failures.

WIRE IDENTIFICATION

CONECTORES

Os conectores
(PLUGS e receptáculos)
facilitam a manutenção
quando for necessária
uma desconexão
frequente. Visto que o
cabo está soldado ou
crimpados aos pinos
inseridos no conector, as
ligações devem ser
instaladas
individualmente, e o
chicote firmemente
suportado para evitar
danos devido a vibração.

Slack between
support points such

12.7mm. This is the
maximum that it
should be
possible to deflect
the wire with
moderate hand force.
