Business research writing: Part 4
Depending on the institutional format,
the final chapter of the research paper
output may start with the summary of
findings. This will guide the panel and
readers on the consistency of findings
and conclusions. The summary of
findings should be presented according
to the sequence of the research
problem. The findings should include
all numerical figures and statistical
explanations, but the conclusion should
be expressed in descriptive terms.

The findings must be anchored on
the result of the survey/interview.
Never make a conclusion based on
your findings, interpretations, or
assumptions. All problems presented
in Chapter 1 must all be answered in
this chapter. Just take note of reh
sequence of the problems, the same
will be presented/answered
accordingly. Thus for every problem
there must be a conclusion.
Business research writing: Part 4
Regardless of the nature of academic or
applied business research, it ends with
recommendations. Recommendations will
cover gaps that may be explored in future
studies or action oriented
recommendations based on the findings
that can be used by those institutions or
individuals stated in the significance of
the study. Never recommend a certain
theory or concept, instead recommend an
idea, strategy or program that is action
oriented and can be easily understood by
the readers.

Any gap found in the findings must
be addressed through the
recommendation section. Any
study that has been done but
related to the present study can be
recommended for future study in
the recommendation section. Any
other research method related to
the study can be recommended for
future study.
