Adverb of manner usually ends in -ly.

Manner
 Some adverbs of manner are formed by adding -ly
to adjectives.

Examples:
The turtle is slow. The boy is quick.
The turtle moves slowly. The boy runs quickly.
If an adjective ends with -e, remove the -e
before adding -ly.

Examples:
simple - simply gentle - gently
If an adjective ends with -y, change the -y to -i
 

before adding -ly.

Examples:
angry - angrily noisy - noisily
ready - readily happy - happily
