Transformer Demagnetization
Apparatus required

 1. 12 v battery
 2. multimeter
 3. jumber cables
 4.stop clock
Procedure

 1. Both HV and Lv terminals should keep open.


 2. Lv neutral connected to ground.
 3. connect 12 v battery positive terminals to R phase and negative terminals
to Y phase.
 Wait for 120 seconds
 Remove any one cable in the terminal side. Large Arc flash will produce.
 Change the positive terminal to Y phase and negative terminal to R phase.
 Wait for 90 seconds .
 Repeat the procedure in 120 .90.60.30.15.10 0 seconds interval for each
phase connections .
