OBJECTIVE
The food and beverage services are looked as means of achieving
satisfaction and making yourself feel comfortable in today’s world. The
main objectives of this service are –
• To satisfy the following needs:
o Physiological − the need to taste different varieties of food
o Economic – the need for good value of the price paid
o Social − the need to find friendly atmosphere
o Psychological − the need to elevate self-esteem
o Convenience – the desire for someone else to do the work
OBJECTIVE
• To provide high quality food and beverages.
• To provide friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
• To provide professional, hygienic, and attentive service.
• To impart value for money.
• To retain the existing customers and to bring in new ones.

FBS ORGANIZATION
This is a structure of personnel who are
necessary to do activities to reach the goals of
the establishment. These activities are assigned
to the employees in such a way that no work is
repeated, no work is mislaid, and the goals are
achieved efficiently by the personnel
responsible.
FBS JOB TITLES AND DUTIES
Food and Beverage Service Manager
He heads the department and ensures profit margins are achieved in each
financial period from each section in Food and Beverage Service. He directs,
controls and coordinates the activities of the personnel engaged in producing
and selling products and services in the department. He sees to it that all
activities are all carried out to ensure guest satisfaction.
Assistant Food and Beverage Manager He assumes all the duties of the Food
and Beverage Service Manager in his absence. He assists the FBS Manager in
all of his duties to deliver guest satisfaction during the service.
