CURRICULUM
1975 CURRICULUM DETERMINATION PROCESS
This curriculum was born due to the influence of concepts in the field of
MBO (management by objective. methods, materials and teaching
objectives are detailed in the procedures for developing instructional
systems (PPSI) and the method used is the BEHAVIORISMĚ theory
National development was the background for the birth of the 1975
curriculum as a result of the many changes that had occurred, especially
since 1969.
WHO USE?
Political Approach
The 1975 curriculum indirectly opened opportunities for the intensification of PAI material in
schools formed by Islamic organizations under the Ministry of Religion. The government is
improving the quality of education in madrasas and Islamic education subjects are broken
down into several fields of study. In this way two political goals were achieved regarding
the future of Islamic education and the transformation of madrasas oriented towards the
development of Muslim resources.
Social Approach
The 1975 curriculum is very much in favor of the advancement of human resources in
Indonesia. The lessons provided are not only based on formal education, but also hone the
skills of these students. This is what makes Indonesian people interested in going to
school. Because not only formal lessons are obtained, but other skills can also be
achieved and can be applied later.
What's the
goal?
The goals in the 1947 curriculum put more
emphasis on character education, awareness
of the state and society, rather than education
of the mind.
theory of modeling
This theory of modeling is a development of behavioral theory,
namely the theory of learning by example (observational learning)
put forward by Albert Bandura. This theory has relevance to the
1947 curriculum, because this curriculum still adapts from the
Dutch and Japanese education systems.
