1.Orientation Day:
This was the first day of the students in L.D. College of Engineering. They
registered their selves in their respected departments. In our department of civil
Engineering we got 120 Student’s registration. After their registration there was an
“Orientation Program” arranged by our department to make students more
comfortable and familiar with department and faculties. The day started with prayer
in Vishvakarma hall. All the Faculty members were invited on the stage for
lightning the lamp. After that the video message of our principle was played and
he gave all the students warm up speech, message about the aim of our college
and the introduction of our college.Next session was taken by senior students and
they gave them important information about our college and also gave introduction
about different clubs of L.D.C.E. like Robocon club, NCC,NSS, V.P. club, Dhanak
club,tarang etc.After that all the faculties gave their intro. He had given a brief
profile of the department highlighting its growth in various areas since the inception
of the department. He shared his vast experience and advised the students to be
dedicated,committed and focused on academics and to showcase their talents in
both curricular and extra-curricular activities for having an edge over their peer
group for employability and higher education globally. The head of department
shared his views regarding the overall development of the students and prompted
them to have a motive in their life guiding them to their path of
success.College seniors said that we are enjoying knowing that we are very good
to know. The college’s life is also shining with Enjoying, we know it from
Experience. Apart from this, our seniors showed us the whole college which
liked us very much. This day was a day my best days. I faith came to be my
best days in the college.

2.Innovation Lecture:
On our 1st day, V. J. Chitaria, who teaches in the M.E. transportation
department, Came to take a lecture. Apart from studying in life, they also
need to develop Their hobbies, it is Necessary to Know that they Are
very Interested in us. Apart from this, He also explained What is
necessary in life. We found this lecture interesting.
3.Eminent People talk:
Kalpeshsir, an engineering degree student in VGEC came as our
senior.He showed us many scopes, what to do after engineering. Apart
from This, he showed his engineering experience which was really
Interesting. We had a lot of fun. Today was a very fun and memorable
day.
4.Universal Human Values:
Prof.A.M.Mirza has explained us Universal human values.
 During our journey of college,basic human values should be
developed in ourselves
 Padagogy:A presentation in which knowledge is shared.its a two
way interection.
 peer pressure:A feeling that one must do the same things as other
people of one’s age and social group in order to be liked
or respected by them.Peer pressure Includes the
pressure to be like them or better – in appearance,
clothes, expression and language.

5.Creative art:
Prof.S.S.Dixit has explained us creative arts lecture.
 Introduction of all students
 Introduction of sir
 Information regarding goverment exams,civil services exam and all.
 Respected sir is also member vishwakarma yojna which of
vishvkarma yojana which funds the NGO’s
 LDCE, Manetchowk, historical moments etc are famous in
ahemdabad.
 Aloo puri,surti locho are famous in surat.
 chhole kachori,panipuri,chaat are in lakhnow.

6. Physical Activities:
 Information about physical health and mental health.
 we should perform meditation and yoga exercise if possible in
ourself.
  It can increase our.constration,thinking ability and also enhances
our personality.
 be doing specific yoga mudras for specific disease.we can come
over it.
7.Motivation talk:
Dr.darshak patel gave us motivational speech about spirituality.In
This
lecture we got to learn spirituality. It is important in our life. This
We got to learn from this lecture. Really, spirituality brings
Effectiveness in our life.this are some tips for
spirituality(1)Spirituality to me is a conscious mind. (2) It made
spirituality an Exciting quest for nonconformists! (3) She sees
them as a Manifestation of spirituality.
(4) The story provides a wonderful Introduction to Jewish
spirituality.

8.Creative arts:
Professor Zalak R.chhaya has explained us that its really important to
Be involved in some creative activities for proper brain
development.He explained to us that apart from studying in life,
our own creativity Is also
necessary. He also gave us an understanding of the models Made in
civil engineering. There are two types of models: 1.demonstrative
2.prototype;types of activities:1.crafting 2.painting 3.sculpture 4.pottery
5.music 6.dance;Apart from this he also taught Some Vedic
mathematics.

9.Literary:
In the literary lecture, we got to know how to get the syllabus of civil
engineering through mobile. Also named many useful applications which
may come in handy during engineering. He showed us how to use gtu’s
website. He gave us information about NPTEL app. We got very
important information in this lecture.
10. Proficiency module English:
In the lecture of the proficiency module, we were asked to introduce
Ourselves in English. All the students introduced themselves in
English. Then the professor explained to us about skill development.

11.Pakalpa club Orientation day:

On this day there was orientation of prakalpa club. In it we were told
about the club. It has many games and activities. More information
about more space was given in it.This club is for civil engineering and
environmental engineering students.

The zeal and the vision to provide students with a platform to pursue
their interests in Physics and Space Science were the leading ardours
behind the foundation of the club fondly called PRAKLAPA. In the
past one year, the club has proven to be a vibrant interface for the
expansion of boundaries of knowledge of several like-minded people
who rediscovered their passion towards Physics and their urge to soar
to new cognizance in this magical world! It also provides collaborative
atmosphere for development with eminent organizations like ISRO,
PRL, IPR and Vedhshala.

11. Innovation lecture:

In the innovation lecture, we were shown innovative ideas of civil
engineering. We were practically explained about civil engineering. We
were shown many ideas.it is important for engineering.

12. Motivation lecture:

Prof.Chetsa joshi showed us her tips and tricks to study in any way
during our 4 years of engineering. Apart from this, she also tried to
increase our passion.She taught us time management.She also told us that
college life should be enjoyed in any way along with studying. One thing
I liked from her was that low attraction is very necessary to do
any work, it increases the enthusiasm to work. Also,she told us how to
make your work easier with the help of phone.We learned a lot in this
lecture and had fun too.

13.Universal human values:

Prof.Payal Andharia explained the lecture of Universal human value by giving us
many examples.She also understood the failure life and also showed the names of
great people who have experienced failure sometimes in their life, among which
these are some names: Sachin Tendulkar, Abraham Lincoln, etc. Then she also
talked about honest. In this lecture we got to know some facts related to life. We
learned something very important in this lecture.

14.Robocon orientation day:

Today was the orientation of Team Robocon club. Students of all
branches were present in Vishveshwaray hall. Hearing the talk of team
Robocon, the passion increases. Show them their achievements. They
have won up to national level. This club has Mechanical and EC
engineering students. It is very fun to play this game. We feel very
proud of ldce.
15.Expert lecture:
The day began with the expert lecture of communication skill and how to
speak the English language with the fluency. The conclusion of the
lecture was that to improve the communication skills the basic pillars are
listening, thinking, reading and then finally talking. At the end also a
group discussion was held for actual implementation of what they
learned in session
.

16. Literary ENG:

Today 1st lecture was our literary ENG. It explained to us how to give
its introduction in English language. Then each student introduced
himself in English. Then we explained the tense coming in English.
We enjoyed introducing ourselves in English.

17.Literary Maths:
Today our 1st lecture was Literary Maths. It explained us the topic of
integration. In this lecture we were reminded of maths of 11th and
12th standard. I enjoyed it a lot as maths is my favourite subject.

18.NCC club Orientation day:

the Orientation of NCC and NSS was held in the Vishveshwaray Hall. All
the NCC and NSS cadets told them about their activities and
achievements.
Physical Activities:
In the physical activity lecture, we were taken to the playground and
played outdoor games like kho-kho, cricket, etc. We enjoyed going to
the playground and playing.

And thus our INDUCTION PROGRAMME ended successfully. We

really enjoyed a lot during these 10 days of program. It not only helped us in
developing skills within us, but also helped everyone in connecting with each
other. A BIG BIG SPECIAL-WALA THANKS to our all the caring professors.
It was also a fun in creating THE INDUCTION DIARY.
