INTRODUCTION
In this project we are controlling the room temperature by
using temperature sensitive fan. As we know there are several
way to convert AC voltage into the DC voltage. Here, we are
using step down transformer and diode bridge rectifier. In
this project we control the temperature of room with the help
of temperature sensor and variable resistor. Here reference
temperature will be settled on variable resistor and
temperature sensor will sense the room temperature. If room
temperature is higher than reference temperature then fan
will be started and when temperature become below the
reference temperature then fan will stop.

TRANSFORMER
A transformer is device that transfers electrical energy
from one electrical circuit to another electrical circuit
through the medium field and without a change in the
frequency. There are two type transformer, step up
transformer and step down transformer. Here, we use
step down transformer. Now, the step down
transformer are those who’s secondary winding has
less turns then the primary winding, then the
secondary voltage is lower then primary voltage and
the transformer is called step down transformer.

MODEL
CONCLUSION
In this project we are controlling the room
temperature by using temperature sensitive fan. Here
we are using a DC fan but instead of that we can use
any AC load also. This is the main advantage of this
project. This project is related to how we can save the
energy and labour. If the room temperature is higher
than reference temperature then fan will be started
and when temperature becomes below the reference
temperature then fan will be stopped.
