Definition:

According to Bubshait and Cunningham (2004) and Stumpf (2000):

Concurrent delays are defined as two or more independent delays taking place at the same
time or overlapping to some extent, causing a significant delay in the project duration

Rubin et al. (1983) defines concurrent delay as:

Two or more individual delays that take place at the same time or within a specific time period,
each of which, had it occurred alone, would have delayed the project.
