P R O B L E M S TAT E M E N T

 Problem: Traditional offline tourism management faces challenges such as manual booking errors, limited
accessibility, and time-consuming administrative tasks. An online Wonderwise :
 Tourism Management System addresses these drawbacks by offering seamless and error-free
 booking processes, 24/7 accessibility for customers, and automated administrative functions. It mitigates manual
errors through digital bookings and payment systems, ensuring accuracy.
 Additionally, the online system expands reach and accessibility, allowing users to book and plan trips from
anywhere. It streamlines administrative tasks by automating processes like itinerary management and resource
allocation, saving time and enhancing overall efficiency. By overcoming the limitations of traditional methods,
online tourism management systems offer convenience, accuracy, and accessibility, significantly improving the
tourism experience for both businesses and customers.
OBJECTIVES

1. Information Management: Store, organize, and manage diverse tourism-related


data including hotels, attractions, tour packages, and bookings.
2. User Interaction and Booking: Facilitate easy access for users to browse
through available destinations, accommodations, and activities, enabling them to
make bookings, reservations, and payments.
3. Efficient Resource Utilization: Optimize the system to efficiently allocate
resources such as rooms, transport, and guides, to maximize utilization and
profitability.
4. Customization and Personalization: Offer personalized recommendations based
on user preferences and behavior to enhance the user experience and increase
customer satisfaction.
METHODOLOGY

 Requirement Gathering: Engage with stakeholders (users,


tourism industry experts, system administrators) to gather
comprehensive requirements. Define user stories, use cases,
and system requirements.
 Database Design: Design the database schema, defining
tables, relationships, and keys, taking into account data
normalization to minimize redundancy and ensure efficient
data storage.
 User Interface Development: Design and develop a user-
friendly interface with considerations for ease of use,
responsiveness, and accessibility across different devices.
Step 1: Start

Step 2 : If admin, then go to step 3 and if customer, then go to step 4.

Step 3 : Go to admin login page and sign in with correct username and password. View all customer
ALGORITHM details. Add packages. View booked hotel details by customer and then go to step 5.

Step 4 : If new customer, then go to sign up page otherwise go to customer login page

Add your details in the add customer details page. View package and hotel in the destination and hotels
page. Book the package and hotel of yours in the destination and hotels booking page. View your
booked package and hotels details and then go to step 5.

Step 5 : Log out.

Step 6: Stop.

I will integrate some dynamic features in my
“Wonderwise : Travel and Tourism Management System”
web application project. Those features are given below:
 E-mail & Mobile confirmation system.
 In future we will give facility of online donation.
 We will include more functionality as per user
FUTURE WORK & requirement.
CONCLUSION  Conclusion : With the Wonderwise : Tourism
management system being developed with java nad
MySQL, we hope to revolutionize the way industries &
individuals manages their tourism-related operations.
By offering an intuitive, secure, and efficient platform,
we aim to enhance user experiences, streamline booking
processes, and contribute to the growth of the tourism
sector through technology-driven solutions.
