MICROSOFT COMPANY AND USED TO CREATE DATABASE FILES.

• WHAT IS DATABASE?
• DATABASE IS THE COMBINATION OF RELATED TABLES.

• WHAT IS CHARACTER?
• A SINGLE UNIT OF ALPHABET IS CALLED CHARACTER.

• THE COMBINATION OF RELATED CHARACTERS HAVING POWER OF
SUPPORTING WORDS IS CALLED FIELDS.

• WHAT IS RECORD?
• RECORD IS THE COMBINATION OF RELATED FIELDS IS CALLED RECORDS.

• WHAT IS TABLE?
• TABLE IS THE COMBINATION OF RELATED RECORDS IS CALLED TABLE.
TYPES OF DATABASE
• THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF DATABASES WHICH ARE GIVEN BELLOW:

• 1: MANUAL DATABASE
• 2: ELECTRONIC DATABASE

• MANUAL DATABASE
• THESE ARE THOSE TYPES OF DATABASE WHICH COULD BE WRITTEN BY
HAND IN THE BOOK AND COMPUTER WILL NOT BE USED HERE.
• ELECTRONIC DATABASE:
• THESE ARE THOSE TYPES OF DATABASES IN WHICH COMPUTER COULD BE
USED HERE AND SPECIAL APPLICATION OR PROGRAM WILL BE USED TO SAVE
THE PEOPLE RECORD.
TYPES OF ELECTRONIC DATABASE?

• 1: FLAT DATABASE
• 2: RELATIONAL DATABASE

• 1: FLAT DATABASE: THESE ARE THOSE TYPES OF DATABASE WHICH COULD BE


BASED ON THE SINGLE TABLE.

• 2: RELATIONAL DATABASE: IT IS THAT KIND OF DATABASE WHICH COULD BE


BASED ON SEVERAL TABLES AND THESE TABLES WILL BE RELATED WITH EACH
OTHER IT MEANS THERE WILL BE RELATION AMONG THE TABLES OF THE DATABASE.
