Choose the appropriate Tool Frame Number & Comment, then press the NEXT STEP

Choose the Torch data entry method, then press the NEXT STEP icon. In this
example, we will use the Direct Entry method.

Enter the X, Y, & Z Offsets of your torch, then press the NEXT STEP icon:

Enter the W, P, & R, Rotations of your torch, then press the NEXT STEP icon:

Enter the Weight of your torch, then press the NEXT STEP icon:

Verify your Torch Setup Information, then press the FINISH icon:

Choose the Torch data entry method, then press the NEXT STEP icon. In this
example, we will use the Teach the Torch method.

Choose the method to record your Tool Frame, then press the NEXT STEP icon:

Jog the robot’s tool center point to Teach Point 1, as shown, and press the Record the
First Point box. Then, press the NEXT STEP icon. If you need help jogging the robot,
Press the Jog Assist box.

The Jog Assist Screen is displayed, to help you jog the robot to Position 1.

When the first approach point has been recorded, the Record the First Point box will
look like this. Press the NEXT STEP icon the proceed.

Jog the robot’s tool center point to Teach Point 2, as shown, and press the Record the
Second Point box. Then, press the NEXT STEP icon.

When the second approach point has been recorded, the Record the Second Point box
will look like this. Press the NEXT STEP icon the proceed.

Jog the robot’s tool center point to Teach Point 3, as shown, and press the Record the
Third Point box. Then, press the NEXT STEP icon.

When the third approach point has been recorded, the Record the Third Point box will

Jog the robot’s tool center point to the Orient Origin Point, as shown, and press the
Record Origin Point box. Then, press the NEXT STEP icon.

When the origin point has been recorded, the Record Origin Point box will look like this.
Press the NEXT STEP icon the proceed.

Jog the robot’s tool center point to the Orient Origin Point, then jog the TCP in the +X
direction, as shown. Press the Record X Direction Point box. Then, press the NEXT
STEP icon.

When the X Direction Point has been recorded, the Record X Direction Point box will
look like this. Press the NEXT STEP icon the proceed.

Jog the robot’s tool center point to the Orient Origin Point, then jog the TCP in the +Z
direction, as shown. Press the Record Z Direction Point box. Then, press the NEXT
STEP icon.

When the Z Direction Point has been recorded, the Record Z Direction Point box will
look like this. Press the NEXT STEP icon the proceed.

Enter the Weight of your torch, then press the NEXT STEP icon:

Verify your Torch Setup Information, then press the FINISH icon:

Torch Setup has been completed and you will see a check mark in the Torch Setup
box.

lap joint.

MONITOR from the RUN section of the HOME screen.

The currently executing line will be displayed at the top in red similar to the one shown
below.

BACKUP provides an iHMI Guided step by step method of backing up programs and
other files. To perform a backup press the UTILITY BACKUP icon.

Choose the backup device, then press the NEXT STEP icon.
