What is platform?
A platform refers to a software or hardware
framework that allows developers to create and deploy
applications, services, or products. It provides a
foundation for a building and running various
application and can include operating system,
programming language, development tools, libraries
and APIs(Application Programing Interfaces). They
provide developers with the necessary tools, resources,
and infrastructure to create and distribute their
applications effectively.
What is software?

Software refers to the program,


data, and instruction that are
executed on a computer. It is
intangible and can be stored
electronically.
What is hardware?
Hardware, on the other hand, refers to the
physical component that make up a
computer system. Hardware provides the
physical infrastructure needed to support
and run software programs. It is responsible
for executing the software instructions and
processing data.
Online Platform

These platforms exist on the internet and are


accessible through electronic devices such as
computers, smartphones, and tablets. They
enable users to connect, share, communicate and
interact with others as well as access various
digital services .

eBay, streaming platforms like Netflix and Spotify,
