SUMMARY OF WHAT I HAVE LEARNED
• I learned from this industry immersion is that there are
a lot of things not taught in school, that you will only learn in the
industry.
• I learned that in a workplace, division of tasks is crucial to
efficiency of the company. More tasks can be accomplished
if more people are contributing to the progress of the project.
• I learned that we are getting paid for the value that we
bringing into the company, so the greater value you give
the higher the salary you will receive
• I had to discipline myself to regularly time in 8 am in the
morning, I had to remove unnecessary activities to keep
myself energized the next day. The travel, work and stress to
come up with deadlines will mentally and physically exhaust
you if dont manage yourself well.
MOST MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE
• My most memorable experience is working with the
skilled workers in Unilab because they are hardworking
not wasting any minute just to get the job done,
they are commited to their work notwithstanding the
fatigue, hunger and the challenges faced on site.
RELEVANCE OF INDUSTRY
IMMERSION
• ASimmersed
Being FUTURE ENGINEER
in industry is only when you realized how
important it is to be able to get along with other people and
managing them. Communication is very important since as an
engineer, you are the designer, the distributor of tasks, the of
costs and materials needed and the supervisor.
• We have the upper hand when it comes to hierarchy but we
still need to be humble and treat each and everyone with
respect and kindness no matter what status your people are
in.
• I realized how every minute and second counts because we
need to have a progress each day on every project we are
handling to meet deadlines. I must say we really need people
we can depend on for each tasks so that we can have the
confidence that they will accomplish it.
CONCLUSION

• Industry immersion is the first step in understanding the


importance of engineers in the field. Safety and precautions is
a must at all times since we are dealing hazardous facilities and
equipment.

• I can also add that deadlines and the amount of tasks given
to an individual may be daunting depending on the number
and the time allotment. It can be stressful and may lead to
burnout so we also needed time to rest and become idle.

• Even I felt so much pressure in this OJT experience, I am still


thankful for all the people I met, the shared memories will
always
be remembered and I will always look up to them and say they
RECOMMENDATION

• I recommend that we learn how to be disciplined so that


we can conserve our energy in more important things in life
so that we have more things done and be on time with
deadlines

• I also recommend that we talk with everyone in the


workplace because you will learn a lot from each other
especially with those who are working there for a long time.

• There is something called hard work and smart work,


it is better to divide task to people than to take it all by yourself
