Teaching is a form of interpersonal influence aim at changing the behavior potential of another person.
The method of teaching that most closely resembles the method of learning.

Introduction
The lecture method was the earliest known teaching method. Currently, this method is used on a large scale in universities.
The lecture Methode is one way communication system, only the teacher is active in the classroom and the student are
passive.

• It help provide the students with a factual foundation upon which to build concepts using concrete example.

Principles of lecture method

• Principle of aim :lecture is based on aim. Even the best teacher will fail if his lecture is not based on some
objective.
• Principle of activity: if you want to learn a thing you have to actively participate.
• Correlation principle : A lecture is not an effective lecture ,but a scientific plan. The subject to be conveyed
should be well planned
• Foresight principle: A good lecture is always predicted based on the teacher’s past experience.
Factors in planning the lecture
• Learner's factors [for which course]
• Subject matter factors [content of the topic]
• Environmental factor [[A V Aids]
• Psychological factor [[simple to complex]
