the game of basketball.

1. Shooting - Use your legs for power and your


arms to guide the ball. Push the ball up towards
the basket.

2. Lay-up - using one hand to bounce it off the


backboard and into the basket.

1. Chest pass – A pass that originates from the chest


2. Bounce pass - Throw the ball forward and down
into the floor, to bounce it to your teammate.
3. Overhead pass - Bring the ball directly above your
forehead with both hands on the side of the ball
and follow through.
02 DRIBBLING
In which a player uses one hand to bounce
the ball continuously.

1. Crossover - switches the ball rapidly from one hand to


other, to make a change in direction.
2. Between the leg - Move your leg at about a 45-degree an-
gle away from your body.
3. Behind the back - To keep the ball away from opponent.

01 JERSEY & SHORTS
1.Jersey - Basketball jerseys are used to separate and identify
different teams and players on the court. Basketball jerseys usually
have part of a team's name or logo on the front, a number on the
front and back assigned to a specific player, along with the athlete's
name on the back.
2. Short - Are used to help keep the player's legs cool and dry
during the game.
3. Shoes – Safety, protect feet against a wide variety of in-
juries.
4. Socks – To protect the feet and ankles from injury provide ad-
ditional comfort and support.
02 EQUIPMENT

1. Cone - Cones are used in fitness testing to mark


out a track or to designate distance, particularly in
agility, speed and endurance testing.
2. Ladder – Speed ladders are designed to help im-
prove your coordination, agility, footwork, endurance,
and speed
3. Whistle - are used to signal the start of play,
end of play, a foul or a timeout.

ternational Basketball
Federation (FIBA) rules, the court is slightly smaller,
measuring 28 by 15 meters
