FLASH UPDATE BIOS/UEFI

FLASHING A BIOS/UEFI:
- Flashing the BIOS/UEFI (basic
input/output system) or UEFI (Unified
Extensible Firmware Interface) is the
process of updating the firmware on your
computer’s motherboard.

- This firmware is essentially the brain of

your motherboard, containing instructions
that tell your hardware how to function
when you power up your system. It
initializes crucial components like the CPU,
RAM, and storage.

FLASHING
• A computer involves deleting the program to load
another version of the same app from a disk. The
cycle derives it’s name from the use of flash instead
of mechanical memory by the BOIS.

WHAT IS UEFI BIOS?
- BIOS manages hardware, boot
devices, and other computer
settings, while UEFI offers
improvements like a better user
interface and support for larger
storage.
