14 Workshop on “U & I” for AICTE Activity Points : On May 22, 2024, from 10:45 AM to 11:45 AM The event aimed to raise awareness about initiatives
by U&I incollaboration with AICTE, focusing on empowering underprivileged children and special needs individuals through education and care programs.
Speakers discussed the Teach and Care programs, highlighted the importance of AICTE activity points, engaged participants through interactive sessions,

12. Hands-on workshop on Advanced Java
Three days HANDS-ON WORKSHOP ON ADVANCED JAVA has been conducted from 26th to 28th JUNE 2024 for the 4th semester ISE
students. Each session built upon the previous one, gradually leading participants from setting up the environment to developing a fully
functional, multi-layered Java web application with database connectivity. The hands-on assignments and block diagram explanations reinforced
the learning objectives and provided practical experience in advanced Java development.

13. Talk on “Life Style on Ecological Balance”

14. Inauguration of AI and ML Club “KRONOS”: The Department of Information Science and Engineering
inaugurated the AI and ML Club named “KRONOS” on July 9th , 2024. The AI and ML Club signed MoU with
Edunet Foundation - IBM SkillsBuild for College Program on July 9th, 2024. This MoU was initiated to
incorporate IBM SkillsBuild for College Program to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical
industry skills, ensuring that the students graduate with a strong foundation to excel in their chosen careers.

15. Technical talk on “Designing and Analysing Algorithms on July 10th.
The Resource person Dr. Girish Rao Slaanake N S, Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Global Academy of Technology addressed the students about the importance of the
subject. He discussed coding concepts of algorithms and their importance. He also shared knowledge of the efficiency of various algorithms. The applications of algorithms in real-time. He also
highlighted the importance of P, N, and NP problems. discussed interview questions and also stressed the importance of data structures and the design and analysis of algorithms in students' careers in

16. Workshop on “DevOps and Software Testing”:
Workshop organised from 11th to 13th July for 6th Sem students. Resource person was Mr. Joseph Teles, Tech Director at VTech
solutions,Selenium In DevOp.As a part of the UI testing team, Selenium test developers need to synchronize and orchestrate their test
design and execution as per schedule and triggers, that are defined in their continuous integration or continuous delivery tools or platforms.

19. Industrial Visit to ISRO, Bengaluru: The industrial visit to the U R Rao Satellite Centre, Bangalore is
arranged for the ISE students for 26.6.24. It provided a valuable insights into the intricate processes of satellite
development and the cutting-edge technologies employed by ISRO. The visit inspired students to further explore
careers in space technology. This visit provided a deep dive into the sophisticated world of satellite technology
and the impressive achievements of ISRO in space exploration.

20. Industrial Visit to “Infosys Campus, Mysuru”: Industrial visit was arranged by Department of Information Science and
Engineering(ISE), RV Institute of Technology and Management (RVITM), Bengaluru to Infosys Limited, Mysuru on 19/07/2024 for
the students of II and III year with an objective of providing students functional opportunity in sector like Information Technology.
108 students along with 9 faculties visited Infosys Limited located at outskirts of Mysore city at around 12 pm on July 19th, 2024.
Students visited the campus and tried to get knowledge of actual industrial working. Industrial visit helped them to combine
theoretical knowledge with industrial knowledge. Industrial realities were opened to the students through this industrial visit.
