Moving coil loudspeaker
The moving coil loudspeaker uses the magnetic
effect generated by a flowing current as the
basis of its operation. When a current flows in a
wire, a magnetic field appears around it.If the coil is
attached to a large diaphragm, then the sound
waves will be more effectively transferred to the
air.

Turning effect on a coil:
When a current passes through the coil,
equal and opposite parallel forces act
respectively on the sides of the coil beside
the poles of the permanent magnet. This pair of
forces produces a turning effect to rotate the coil
until it is stopped by the control springs.

#9.07 Electromagnetic inductio
ow is current induced in a wire:
A magnet and a coil of wire can be used to
produce an electric current. A voltage is
produced when a magnet moves into a coil
of wire. This process is called electromagnetic
induction . The direction of the induced voltage is
reversed when the magnet is moved out of the
coil again.

What is Eddy currents:
Eddy currents are loops
of electrical current
induced within
conductors by a
changing magnetic field
in the conductor
according to Faraday's
law of induction. Eddy
currents flow in closed
loops within conductors,
in planes perpendicular
to the magnetic field.
What is eddy current and uses:
Eddy currents are also used
for the deep heat treatment of
the human body. Eddy currents
can also be used to heat the
localized tissues in the human
body. Eddy currents are also used
in the speedometers and energy
meters. Eddy currents are also
used in magnetic breaks. A metal
detector creates eddy currents in
metal objects and then detects

Simple AC generator
An alternating current (ac) generator is a device that
produces a potential difference . A simple ac
generator consists of a coil of wire rotating in a
magnetic field. Cars use a type of ac generator called
an alternator to keep the battery charged and to run the
electrical system while the engine is working.

The process in which a changing current in
one coil induces emf in another coil, is
called mutual induction. While the
phenomenon in which a changing
current in a coil induces an emf in
itself is called self-induction.

tep-down transformers.
A step-down transformer is a type of
transformer that converts the high voltage (HV)
and low current from the primary side of the
transformer to the low voltage (LV) and high
current value on the secondary side of the
transformer. ... That means energy flows from the
HV to the LV side.
