ABSTRACT
The rapid evolution of IoT (Internet of Things) technology has paved the way
for smart and autonomous vehicle systems. This project presents an IoT-based
running car integrated with a battery-powered setup, WiFi sensor, relay module,
and DC gear motor to achieve efficient, remote-controlled mobility.
The WiFi sensor enables wireless communication between the vehicle and a
user interface, allowing seamless control and monitoring. The relay module
facilitates switching operations, ensuring smooth transitions for acceleration,
braking, and directional changes. The DC gear motor provides high torque and
reliable movement, making the car adaptable for various terrains and speeds
5
OBJECTIVE
The IoT-based running car is designed to integrate smart automation with mechanical
mobility, enabling efficient wireless control and real-time monitoring. The key objectives
of this project are:
1. Power Requirements
Battery Selection: Choose a battery with sufficient voltage
and capacity to power the motors and electronics.
Voltage & Current Calculation: Ensure the battery can supply
enough current for the DC gear motor and WiFi module.
2. Motor Torque Calculation
Torque (T) = Force (F) × Radius (r)
Determine the required torque based on the car’s weight and
wheel size.
3. Relay Control
Relay Rating: Select a relay that can handle the motor’s
voltage and current.
Switching Logic: Ensure proper control using an IoT-based
microcontroller.
4. WiFi Sensor & Communication
WiFi Module: Use ESP8266 or ESP32 for wireless control.
Signal Strength: Ensure stable communication for remote
operation.

Testing WORKING PRINCIPLE
Working Principle - Battery Power Supply – The battery provides energy to the
car's motors, sensors, and microcontroller. - WiFi Sensor Communication – The
WiFi sensor enables remote control and data transmission, allowing the car to
receive commands from a smartphone or IoT platform. - Microcontroller
Processing – The microcontroller processes input from the WiFi sensor and
decides when to activate the relay. - Relay Activation – The relay acts as an
electronic switch, controlling the motor or other components based on the
microcontroller’s instructions. - Motor Control & Movement – The relay switches
the motor on or off, enabling the car to move forward, backward, or stop.

CONCLUSION
In conclusion, the first objective of the remote vehicle monitoring system starting and
tracking using IoT system is to study IoT (Internet of Things) safety systems in
automotive applications. The literature analysis in the article highlights the different
components, software, and sensors that are available for IoT systems. It also presents
several articles on how IoT systems have been implemented in vehicles such as buses
and cars. The article goes on to describe the processes, methods, and outcomes of
projects that make use of IoT systems. The IoT systems bring many benefits
to the automotive industry, as they can help to develop and advance it. The circuit for
the engine stop-start system described in the article was developed based on the study
of IoT systems. As a result, the first objective is achieved.
