I received my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics degree from Missouri State University in 2016, graduating summa cum laude in the Honors College. Generally, I am interested in algebra, combinatorics, and discrete mathematics with an affinity toward propositional logic -- although I have a very topical and limited understanding of each of these subjects.
Outside of academia, I enjoy music composition, music criticism, exercise, and outlandish humor. Sufjan Stevens changed my life in addition to many others. For the adventurous reader, you can listen to some of my compositions via the links below. Particularly, I am a trained jazz drummer and freelance indie rocker with the (flawed) ability to play many instruments -- including the guitar, ukulele, and piano -- and I like to maintain total control of my musical output in every aspect of production. Because of this, most of my music could be considered lo-fi, but it is all very genuine and earnest -- which I think are very important and typically rare qualities.
