INiger-Congo lusapho lolwimi olucingelwayo oluthethwa kuninzi lwe-Afrika ekwi-sub-Sahara. ^[1] Idibanisa iilwimi zesiMande, iilwimi zeAtlantiki-eCongo (ezabelana ngenkqubo yeklasi yesibizo), kwaye mhlawumbi amaqela amancinane eelwimi ekunzima ukuwahlela.

Enye yezona mpawu zihlukileyo eziqhelekileyo kwiilwimi ze-Atlantic-Congo kukusetyenziswa kwenkqubo yeklasi yesibizo, eyona nto iyinkqubo yesini enezini ezininzi. ^[2]
