Ɨ (tài-iú sió huâinn-kông ê I; tuā-siá jī-bió: Ɨ, sió-siá jī-bió: ɨ; siâ-thé: Ɨ, ɨ; I with bar (stroke)) sī lating jī-bió tang-tiong êtsi̍t-ê jī-bió, iû I hi̍k-tsiá i ka-siōng tsi̍t-ê sió huâinn-kông sóo tsoo-sîng ê.

Teh kok-tsè im-piāu tang-tiong, ɨ sī iōng-lâi piau-sī "pì iong put uân-tûn guân-im" ( close central unrounded vowel). Teh Bí-kok gú-giân ê thuân-thóng tang-tiong, ⟨Ɨ⟩ iōng-teh piau-sī teh kah Rosa bô kāng-khuán ê Roses tē-2 ê im-tsiat tang-tiong thiann-tio̍h ê jio̍k guân-im.^[1] Iú-kuan sió tuā-siá ⟨ɨ⟩ ê siong-kuan iōng-huat, tshiánn tsham-ua̍t "kīn pì iong put uân-tûn guân-im" (near-close central unrounded vowel).
