風暴潮

風暴潮

風暴潮或者叫暴潮英文Storm surge)係由熱帶氣旋温帶氣旋、冷鋒嘅強風作用同氣壓驟變等強烈嘅天氣系統引起嘅海面異常上升現象,又叫「風暴增水」、「風暴海嘯」、「氣象海嘯」或「風潮」。風暴潮會令受到影響嘅海區嘅潮位大大地超過正常。如果風暴潮咁啱撞正同受影響海區嘅漲潮重疊,就會令水位暴漲,海水湧入內陸,搞到有好大嘅破壞。

導致風暴潮發生嘅主要氣象學因素係高風速令海水經過一個吹程長嘅路徑推埋岸[1]
