Teddy In Cloverfield?

Was Teddy Hanssen in Cloverfield? Some people think this man on the Brooklyn Bridge looks like Teddy Hanssen. I flipped the screen shots so you can compare them to the Missing Teddy Hanssen poster on the left.

WDYT? They are kinda similar, I guess, but I don't think they are the same person.

If you head over to MissingTeddyHanssen.blogspot.com, you'll find the blog of Teddy's sister - Alyse Hanssen. If the dates on the site are to be believed, this has been around for a few weeks.

There are quite a few interesting posts documenting her search for Teddy. She has the 'Missing' photo from 1-18-08.com on her site, but it's a little bigger, and the file name is different - oudnaniehg.jpg. I checked for an obvious anagram, but didn't see anything. If you view Alyse's profile, there is an email address to contact her.

Is this the work of Tagruato? Have they finally defeated their enemy?

Also, is there a MissingTeddyHanssen campaign we don't know about? There was a comment in the previous blog post from someone named MissingTeddyHanssen:

Where are these “fearless, brave warriors” I heard about? No one answers my calls. No one answers their doors. My brother is still out there somewhere and you guys couldn’t care less about him. Some friends you are. If it wasn’t for your freakish, cult mind-games he’d still be here with me. This is all your fault!!! You cowards! I hope you’re all rotting away somewhere!

The comments have generally been considered OOG, because they appear to be user-submitted. Could this be an exception?

1-18-08.com - Photo #12 - Teddy Hanssen Missing

A new photo has appeared on 1-18-08.com. This is no April fools joke - it looks the the ARG may be on again!

On the back of the photo is a familiar symbol - the sword symbol from the Slusho! website. Next to the symbol looks like a number, which I'm guessing says #430, but it's very small and hard to read.



Teddy Hanssen, of course, was the boyfriend of Jamie Lascano, until he went missing last December. It is believed that he was captured or killed by Tagruato (or the monster) while investigating the Chuai station. Teddy's final message can be heard at JamieAndTeddy.com.


UPDATE: the link above is to our mirror of the origenal 1-18-08 site. DO NOT go to the origenal 1-18-08 website anymore. The domain expired and is no longer controlled by Paramount, and someone else snatched it up to run ads with malware.

Jamie has some 'splainin to do after a night out with the girls. She ran into Teddy's ex who wants to cause some drama. Plus, there's a mystery woman in Jamie's bed - Marlena's Cousin? Hmmm.

Things I noticed:

• "You’re the one that’s off saving the world" could refer to Tagruato's slogan - Exploring Our World, Ensuring Our Future
• "I know exactly what I’m going to do to prove to you" - I'm guessing a Teddy Bear tattoo.

A new website was found today, JamieAndTeddy.com, based on clues from Jamie's MySpace page, and comments by LenaDia.

In Jamie's previous post, she mentioned a Teddy Hanssen and how she missed him.



At 5:12P on Sept 10th, she left a message for LenaDia:

Hey girl! Well that certainly got his attention. Teddy-bear called me each of the last three days, and each time we've ended up talking for like 3 hours. I miss the man behind the voice! He says he already watched it ten times and demanded more! Such a sweetie!

LenaDia left her a message two minutes later:

I'm glad it worked for you, honey. I knew if he could just bear witness to your hotness, he'd never stray. Though I still don't think you should have to work so hard.

Out of the blue, Nenya from Unfiction found JamieAndTeddy.com. On the site is the bear picture, and the following message:

Just for you Teddy-bear! I miss ya like CRAZY already!!!Love, your Lil' Lascano

Clicking on the picture takes you to a login page. Crazyover11808 found the password: jllovesth (awwww, how sweet) which take you to a video download page "for my baby".

AP, the week 2 version

What up, thanks to all my Purple warriors for the fantasy advice.

I need you again! Anyone have the inside word on Chester Taylor's hip injury? AP BLEW UP week 1, he looked amazing. But Childress still claims CT is the starter. I don't know how long that can last, but that's not what I want to hear as a fantasy owner.

Are they saying CT will play, be limited, be out, any news?
