DYK for Solid South; article in the GA nomination process
I believe Solid South would be eligible for DYK if it meets the GA criteria, which may take time, but the "Did you know" fact itself is valid. I have submitted Solid South for a good article nomination, as I believe it meets Wikipedia:Good article criteria. It initially failed a GAN because of a lack of inline citations, which I have fixed. JohnAdams1800 (talk) 17:34, 6 August 2024 (UTC)
- @JohnAdams1800: I see. Well, once it passes GA it should be perfectly eligible for DYK, but you would have to wait with nominating it until it has passed. I will write a note about it at the DYK nomination page. I don't know how the process works, if this DYK nomination will fail and you can re-nominate or if it can somehow be withdrawn. We'll see what the people involved in this kind of intricacies say. Best, Yakikaki (talk) 18:24, 6 August 2024 (UTC)
- @JohnAdams1800: The current nomination has been closed as unsuccessful. You can re-nominate it once it has achieved GA status, it shouldn't be a problem. Good luck with the GA procedure! Yakikaki (talk) 19:53, 6 August 2024 (UTC)
