An opportunity for Wiki people (Wikipedia, Wikidata, Wikimedia etc) to get together. Everybody's welcome, new or experienced.

• Has worked with Dodd-Walls Centre for the last couple of weeks (described as a "Wikipedian on retainer"): sorting image permissions; taught staff how to write WP articles; worked on some bios of the researchers; uploaded physics graphics; ORCID IDs for staff; getting staff and research onto Wikidata
• Produced final report for West Coast project this week

• What’s special about the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Biography_and_memoir_book_cover_images category? I added a low-resolution image of a book cover into commons, but when I tried to add the category to it didn’t exist. It clearly does, and it has 1,586 book cover images in it.

• The list of items in the category is auto generated
• Only Wikipedia allows uploads of non-free material; discussed what the process is of sorting this out.

• Much jolliness was expressed about the new Wikipedian. Congratulations, Podzemnik!

• Next meetup is on Tuesday, 8 December 2020 – change of venue; we'll try out Salut Salut (also in Welles Street); 7 pm
