Watch multiple work items

You can choose to watch multiple work items so you’ll receive notifications when things happen to those work items.

Manage watching multiple work items from the backlog

You can only manage watching multiple work items from the backlog if you’re in a software project.

To watch multiple work items from the board:

Select multiple work items from the backlog. You can either:
1. use the work items checkboxes
2. hold Ctrl (Windows) or Command (Mac) while selecting work items
3. hold the Shift key to select a group of adjacent work items
Select More actions (•••) on one of the selected work items, then select Bulk change.
Select Watch work items and select Next.
Select Confirm.

To stop watching multiple work items from the board:

Select multiple work items from the backlog. You can either:

3. hold the Shift key to select a group of adjacent work items
Select More actions (•••) on one of the selected work items, then select Bulk change.
Select Stop watching work items and select Next.
Select Confirm, then Acknowledge.

Right-click or select More actions (•••) on one of the selected work items, then select Bulk change.
Select Stop watching work items and select Next.
Select Confirm, then Acknowledge.

To watch multiple work items from All work in the project navigation:

Adjust the search criteria to show the appropriate list of work items.
Select Import and bulk change work items (•••) and choose Bulk Change all <n> work items.
Select the work items you'd like to perform the bulk operation on, and select Next.
Select Watch work items and select Next.
Select Confirm.

To stop watching multiple work items from All work in the project navigation:

Adjust the search criteria to show the appropriate list of work items.
Select Import and bulk change work items (•••) and choose Bulk Change all <n> work items.
Select the work items you'd like to perform the bulk operation on, and select Next.
Select Stop watching work items and select Next.
Select Confirm, then Acknowledge.
