Normal waves are about 3-4 feet, this spot is close to the Joe's Crab Shack Pier which people sometimes fish from. Avoid the pier when there are fishermen due to them attracting sharks. Keep yourself safe with an Electromagnet Bracelet from a surf shop, and wrap it on your ankle.
Know how to catch short waves. Videos online show that they are rideable, but short. Great for beginners.
I just put in 301 N Atlantic Ave with my GPS and that takes you to Napoli Pizza and is right next to Daytona Beach's Paid Parking Garage/Shopping Mall/Restaurant place.
Several hotels on the beachfront.
Multi-story Parking Garage right near the pier, next to Napoli Pizza. Normal Parking rates. The rest of the way is by foot to the beach.
The parking garage I mentioned connects you to a couple surf shops in a multi-story shopping center.
Don't know of any.
Daytona is mostly flat most of the time, but you can get occasional 3-4' waves and sometimes the wind will kick them up to 5ft. Just check your Magic Seaweed App for the latest wave report before you go.
