Fiction

The Transformers cartoon

The rebels had a grand scale attack on Hive City planned. A key part of their strategy would be A-3's Coder Remote with which they would take out the Dark Guardians effortlessly, thereby badly crippling the Quintessons' defenses. Problematically, A-3 and his Coder Remote disappeared from the Empty Lands shortly before the attack would commence. Beta took charge in his absence, having preparations continue regardless of the Coder Remote, but spending her available time up until the battle on a search for A-3. Doing so, she stumbled on a small band of slave mark-carrying robots under threat of a Dark Guardian and helped them escape. Despite the risk it meant, she gave the strangers her trust and brought them with her to the rebels' hideout. Beta explained the situation to them in company of the other rebels and asked for their assistance in the upcoming attack, to which they answered positively.

With the extra help, the assault on Hive City proceeded quite well at first, but the rebels failed to breach the city's walls and take out the Dark Guardians permanently. Suddenly, A-3 appeared on the battlefield and activated the Coder Remote. Having taken out the main defenses, he urged the future Autobots to return to their own time, the battle no longer their concern. Forever Is a Long Time Coming
