"Dweller in the Depths"

The Quintessons come up with a new plan to rid themselves of the Transformers.

Synopsis

The Autobots celebrate the new power core they've just activated, while the Quintessons watch from afar with growing fury. One of their number has a plan, however, and they inform Galvatron of the power core, cunningly supplying him with coordinates that will take him to the slumbering Dweller. The Autobots intercept Galvatron's team, but they stumble on and unleash the Dweller, which begins infecting them with energy-vampirism. As they flee, Wreck-Gar pushes Ultra Magnus to safety and tries to block the oncoming Trans-Organic horde, while Galvatron continues to ignore the plight of his men in favor of attacking the Autobots. The Autobots and Decepticons eventually manage to escape the Dweller and Trans-Organics and return to their respective bases. Deep underground, a faint Quintesson cry for help can be heard.

Notes

• This is a campaign event.
• It's based on the Generation 1 cartoon episode "The Dweller in the Depths".
• The Quintesson card features a prosecutor harassing Kranix, despite him not appearing in the episode the event is based on.
• Due to problems in getting the next event working, this was followed by a repeat of "All Hail Megatron".
